To resolve the security problems of the three tower blocks - Barrington, Bacton and Wendling - a new concierge will be installed in Bacton Tower (above). The concierge will be linked by CCTV to the other tower block entrances and directly overlook two currently unwelcoming places, Lismore Circus and Haverstock Road, which are both considered local troublespots. What used to be two entrances on two levels will be turned into a single supervised entrance at ground level, facing the street. The former first floor entrance, set adrift by the demolition of access walkways, will become a private tenants’ hall with a small terrace and sun room.
